How the Association uses information

The SOA holds a small member record in order to administer membership: name, rank, personal email, telephone, membership status, and assignment. We use it to invite members, to operate the portal, and to send Association notices.

Member records are not an Ottawa Police Service human-resources or operational file. Public visitors to soaottawa.com are not asked for a member login. Association correspondence is received at soa@ottawapolice.ca.

A fuller privacy notice will be published if the Association supplies the text.
